Impacting Customers

Optimize operations with company brand values.

UTSouthwestern Medical Center

UTSouthwestern promotes health and a healthy society with its triple-mission focus: patient care, academia, and research.

Creating a secure patient experience by positively documenting a patient specimen collection in a patient’s EMR decreases the risk of mislabeled or missing specimens, tracks the status of the specimen through its journey to-and-through the lab, and decreases the amount of handling required in the lab.

I traversed every inch of clinical space to document patient specimen collection locations and install/test hardware to be used for positive patient identification at the point of care.

LevelUp.jpg

levelup

LevelUp leverages mobile payment technology to engage and foster customer loyalty with enterprise clients and local businesses.

Training frontline staff, managers, and owners, to operate a new point of sale system involves understanding the team using the hardware, software, and back-end. A scalable, efficient, and cost-effective process was needed to ensure that LevelUp was usable by all staff processing transactions.

I created a remote set-up process for installations, trained a robust in-house merchant services team, and set the groundwork for a scalable self-service model.

High Start Group

High Start Group provides insights, strategy, and execution assets during product development and launch lifecycles.

Santander Bank, High Start Group’s client, was looking to make a splash in the US market and launch a series of credit cards to attract and retain their American customers (starting with Bravo). A quarterback was needed to streamline operations from product design through each card launch.

I managed the research design, client, and agency, stakeholders while overseeing creative concepting, development, and launch strategy timelines.

IDEA for Africa

IDEA for Africa (idea4africa.org) inspires youth entrepreneurs to develop social and economic value for their community through entrepreneurship and action.

In the middle of an impactful educational study abroad opportunity, the politics of a college, and the increasing professional responsibilities of an organization's leader, IDEA for Africa was created to extend the reach, impact, and scope of its programming efforts.

I directed the 501(c)(3) filing, established standard operating procedures, recruited the board of directors, and worked with the Rwandan employee to implement a sustainable organization mission and vision.

Meeting Professionals InternationaL

Meeting Professionals International, Greater New York chapter (MPIGNY) is the largest meeting and event industry organization worldwide for corporate and independent meeting planners.

As a millennial within a prominent chapter of the organization, social events were among the most well-attended networking opportunities, yet rarely incorporated the unique elements of New York City.

I chaired the “This Is Our City” committee, leading fifteen planners in coordination of quarterly chapter networking events to showcase the differentiating elements of each borough.

Guidrr

Guidrr provides a platform for destination influencers and brands to engage, guide, and inspire travelers in search of local experiences.

With a global influencer audience, intense traction upon launch, and the need to rapidly generate quality content, Guidrr needed an impactful onboarding experience to efficiently and effectively educate and excite content creators.

I designed a cloud-based e-learning platform through Teachable to communicate content best practices, getting started logistics, and marketing tips and tricks.

IgniteDFW.jpg

IGNITEDFW

IgniteDFW is a quarterly speaker series celebrating the (geeky) hobbies of its community members. 5 minutes. 20 slides. 15 seconds per slide. Auto-advancing.

Upon ignition in 2015, the event had been coordinated by a “team of misfits” looking to build community. With varied backgrounds, connections, and skillsets, an organizational schema was needed to keep the part-time team on track.

I revamped the website, broadened the speaker network, and created an operations timeline to standardize production.

Why Dallas Infographic.png

"WHY DALLAS" INFOGRAPHIC

“Why Dallas” Infographic visualizes the small business data of the DFW Metroplex to showcase the scale of the startup community.

Originally created in 2014 to publish the success of The Dallas Entrepreneur Center’s efforts in growing the ecosystem, the center did not have the resources, funds, nor time to update the graphic for 2015. The 2014 graphic continued to be circulated and displayed within the community.

I recognized the inspirational qualities of the graphic, spearheaded the update project, recruited a design sponsor, coordinated data collection, and ensured distribution to motivate community.
